Beyond Recycling Swansea has a strong focus on getting items repaired instead of having to buy new ones.

We run regular repair workshops which can be found on our events page

We also hold a Repair Cafe on the third Saturday of each month.

Our Recycling hub saves 100s of kgs of waste from landfill each year.

Visit our recycling hub at the Environment Centre open Tuesday-Friday 10am-4pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.

We found that there were plenty of items that could be saved from landfill while also being used to support sustainable businesses. Our Green Shop also stocks some of the final products, such as chopping boards, soap dishes, wallets and bags.

We run a fortnightly litter pick from the Environment Centre on a Wednesday from at 10am-12pm to help remove rubbish from the local environment and make sure that trash doesn’t end up in the sea or local water courses everyone is welcome and all equipment is provided. If you, your group or work would like to organise a litter pick we can help. The Environment Centre is a Keep Wales Tidy Litter Picking Hub where you can hire litter-picking equipment for free. Or if you would like some extra help organising a litter pick please get in touch with chris@environmentcentre.org.uk
