Wales Nature Week: Discover and Celebrate Welsh Wildlife

Various local events have been organised as part of a Wales-wide celebration of nature with wildlife-inspired activities to enthuse people and engage them in learning about nature and protecting the natural environment on their doorstep. Strandline Scavenger Hunt

Join the warden for a 2hr beachcomb along the shore of Crymlyn Burrows SSSI, looking for evidence of life below the waves. In conjunction with the Wildlife Trust.

All welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult.

Free, but parking charges apply (good bus and bike links).

Landimore Circular Walk

Walk with the rangers to discover the wonders of Worms Head, the tidal island at the far end of Rhossili.

A morning walk with the RSPB Local Group. Warm weatherproof clothing and boots may be necessary.

Evening Ranger Ramble

Join the Estate Manager for an enjoyable walk and talk around Penllergare Valley Woods and learn about our history, wildlife and ongoing restoration project.

Free but donations appreciated. £2 parking.

Please wear sturdy shoes. Suitable for ages 8+. Pace is slow but may include some steep paths and steps.
