New Life Week

Meet the newest additions to the feathered family at Wetlands Llanelli and go behind-the-scenes on exclusive daily duckery tours.

You might even see a fluffy chick hatch before your eyes.

Gower Good Food Festival
May 26 @ 10:00 am – May 27 @ 5:30 pm

Sample the wares of some of the very best local producers who will be showcasing their delicious homemade produce. Guided tours of the mill, craft workshops and animal feeding sessions also on offer.

Tots on Tyres
May 28 @ 11:30 am – 12:30 pm

Start them young and have some fun, for your little one who can’t ride. This is a fun session using all types of bikes, scooters, balance bikes and trikes. Working their way around an obstacle course this is great fun and practice to help them move closer to riding a two-wheel bike. £5 per child. Booking essential.

Cycle Skills
May 28 @ 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Cycling games, basic cycle maintenance and cycling skills training in preparation for National Standards Level 1.

£8 per child. Booking essential

Road Safety Cycle Training: Level 1
May 29 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

National Standards Road Safety Level 1 for children aged 8yrs upwards. Training takes place in a traffic free environment at our venue and helps you to learn to control your bike. Trainees must be able to ride a bike and must pass Level 1 before they can do Level 2.

£20 per person. Booking essential.

Evening Ranger Ramble
May 29 @ 5:30 pm

Join the Estate Manager for an enjoyable walk and talk around Penllergare Valley Woods and learn about our history, wildlife and ongoing restoration project.

Free but donations appreciated. £2 parking. Please wear sturdy shoes.

Suitable for ages 8+.

Pace is slow but may include some steep paths and steps

Road Safety Cycle Training: Level 2
May 30 @ 10:00 am – 2:30 pm

National Standards Road Safety Level 2 for ages 10yrs upwards. Training takes place on quieter residential roads and gives you a real cycling experience so you can deal with traffic on short journeys such as cycling to school or work.

Trainees must have passed Level 1 training.

£30 per person. Booking essential.

Walk the Worm
May 31 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Walk with the rangers to discover the wonders of Worms Head, the tidal island at the far end of Rhossili.

Free event but booking essential as spaces are limited.

Moth Event
May 31 @ 9:30 pm

Discover the world of moths with Russel Hobson from Butterfly Conservation Wales as he leads us around the Farm to check the pre-laid traps and teach us about these beautiful creatures.

Suggested donation £2 per adult, £1 per child.
