Road Safety Cycle Training: Level 1
Apr 24 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

National Standards Road Safety Level 1 for children aged 8yrs upwards.

Training takes place in a traffic free environment at our venue and helps you to learn to control your bike.

Trainees must be able to ride a bike and must pass Level 1 before they can do Level 2.

£20 per person. Booking essential

Rhondda Tunnel Campaign Talk

Talk by the Rhondda Tunnel Society on they campaign to open the tunnel for walking and cycling.

Tea, coffee and biscuits available.

Invasive Non-native Species Awareness Training
Apr 25 @ 10:30 am – 3:00 pm

Learn about the main issues of Invasive non-native species (INNS) in the UK and globally, including gID, control methods, legislation, recording and campaign.

Some prior knowledge of ecology would be useful.

£50 per person.

Road Safety Cycle Training: Level 2
Apr 25 @ 10:30 am – 2:30 pm

National Standard Road Safety Level 2 for ages 10yrs upwards. Training take places on quieter residential road and gives you a real cycling experience so you can deal with traffic on short journeys such as cycling to school or work.

Trainees must have passed Level 1 training.

£30 per person. Booking essential.

Ester Playscheme on the Farm
Apr 26 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

A wide range of activities including adventures play, bushcraft, sports games, woodwork, junk art and crafts.

Children must be registered with the Farm before taking part.

For ages 8-16yrs. Under 8’s welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Suitable clothing is advised.

£1 per child per morning or afternoon session.

This event is subjected to continued funding.

Down to Earth Project Volunteer Day
