Invasive Non-native Species Training

Invasive non-native species (INNS) are recognised as one of the greatest threats to biodiversity globally and this course looks at the main INNS in the UK as well as a few global INNS. Some prior knowledge of ecology would be useful. £50 per person.

Birdwatching at Blackpill

Join members of the RSPB West Glamorgan group birdwatching across Swansea Bay SSSI. Open to all.

Mindfulness Taster Session

Mindfulness is all about living in a way that supports us to get the most out of life – to live fully, rather than just survive.  Learning mindfulness has been shown to help with managing stress, anxiety and low mood.  Many people feel that being more mindful helps them to be aware of the natural world and to have a greater appreciation of the environment.  Growing a more mindful way of being in life requires commitment, training and lots of practice – come along to this Taster session to find out how to begin!
