Plastic – from 3rd to the 27th April 2019

An effort to raise awareness of the plastic pollution crisis through photographs and experience.

Photographs in the Main Hall will show just how easy it is to come across plastic pollution on any beach and also demonstrate solutions in place to help tackle plastic pollution.

Only for a limited time (until 12 noon on Saturday 6th April) the exhibition will house an interactive dark room giving viewers an insight into how it feels to be a marine animal living amongst human carelessness.

The Environment Centre is on Pier Street, Swansea (to the right of Morgan’s Hotel) and is open Tue-Fri 10am-4pm and Sat 10am-2pm. The exhibition room is often used for meetings and training events so please call first to check availability for exhibition viewing.

Sustainibbles aim is to help our community buy their grocery essentials without single use plastic, in an easy and accessible way.
Through the use of paper bags, buying these products can help to reduce the ever-growing issue that is single use pack.
The Environment Centre shares this goal and decided to support them by selling in our shop those new plastic free packaged merchandise.
