Training

We’re developing a training programme of practical support to help groups take action, from tree planting to installing solar PVs.

We’d love to hear more about the training you need.

Our autumn 2022 Community Group Survey told us that a high proportion of respondents were interested in learning and training opportunities.

  • 61% were interested in skill share classes such as bike maintenance, food growing, composting, sewing repairs, building planters or bug hotels, and so on.

  • 66% were interested in information talks, such as gardening for wildlife and how to reduce energy use.

  • 58% were interested in more specialist training, such as Carbon Literacy, Permaculture, how to plant trees or how to deal with invasive plant species.

  • 65% were interested in more specialist support including help to do a Carbon Footprint or support working out how we impact the environment.
