Climate Leaders

The BIG Climate Leap aims to support those who want to learn more about the climate crisis and what they can do about it.

This is a developing strand of our project.

We plan to run an innovative climate learning programme. This will include, talks, workshops, film showings, group discussions, and more.

Who is the programme for?

This part of our project will be open to anyone who wants to learn more about the climate crisis and what they can do about it. That includes people who know very little to those who have been active on environmental issues for years.

What will it involve?

For those who are new to climate change, we will be hold events aimed at providing an overview of the scale of the climate crisis and how we and the society we live in need to change.

For those who have often wondered how to get your friends and family more engaged on the climate, then the climate learning programme also provides a great opportunity to get them engaged by inviting them to take part in interactive sessions or film screening.

For those who have been very active on the climate crisis, we would like to hold more in depth sessions, for example looking at the types of arguments people, governments and businesses employ to block action from taking place, and how to counter them.

These are just some of the options we are considering for our climate learning program. We are very excited about the possibilities, and think that this is going to be one of the most popular elements of the project.

Interested?

You can keep in touch via the website, where we will post details when they are finalised, or you can get in touch and we will add you to our email list so you can be informed about the program when it is launched. We also want to hear your ideas of what could be included in the programme! This could be sessions you have seen delivered in other cities around the UK, or online workshops that climate leaders could attend.

You can share your details and idea via the form below.

We look forward to seeing you when the program gets started!
