Job Opportunity: Administration Officer

A part-time post (14 hours per week) based on £18,000 per annum pro rata FTE. Initially, a 12-month contract but could be extended if sufficient funding is secured.

The Centre’s Trustees are looking for an Administration Officer to join the small, friendly team to administer meeting room bookings, help organise events and exhibitions, and promote Centre activities through social media and the website. We are looking for an individual who is well-organised, resourceful and has the ability to multi-task. The successful applicant will have a flexible and enthusiastic approach, excellent customer-facing communication skills and confidence with a range of IT applications.

This post may be well suited to someone looking to develop their work experience or someone returning to work. There could be flexibility in working hours e.g. they could be spread over 3 or 4 days to fit around school hours, part-time studying, etc.
