Festival Of Stitch, 10th – 24th August 2018

The Swansea Festival Of Stitch are proud to present the best that Wales has to offer from our homegrown textile groups and artists. The festival will run from 10th – 24th August and will take place at several venues in Swansea, including The Environment Centre, Swansea Museum, The National Waterfront Museum, Civic Centre, Grand Theatre, Dragon Hotel, Tapestri, Volcano Theatre and the Beach Hut.

We will be featuring work from the talented Ruth Norbury and Haf Weighton in the Centre’s main hall, available to view 10 am – 4pm Tues – Fri, and 10 – 2 Sat (please note that the Centre will be closed on Mondays in August. Also the room may be booked for meetings so check availability before making a special journey).

The Festival also provides opportunity to experience a variety of creative workshops at Swansea Museum, and a Makers and Traders Market at the Waterfront Museum over the weekend of 18th & 19th August including drop-in stitch sessions.

A booklet about the festival (including a map and workshop times) is available to pick up from the Centre.
