Wild Plant Paper Making Workshop

Come to the Environment Centre on Saturday 12th of May and make paper from locally grown wild plants. After a demonstration of the cooking and beating process by Wild Plant Paper, you can make your own sheets of paper from prepared pulp and take them home to finish drying off.

Please come in clothes that will not mind getting wet. You may wish to wear an apron. Please bring about 20 J cloths to ‘couch’ your paper and a plastic bag to take it home with you. When you get home, you will need some old newspaper or printer paper and a heavy weight (eg a box of books) to dry your paper out fully.

£12.50 per person. Includes paper to take home with you, ideal for crafting and art projects. Refreshments included. Under 14’s can attend but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The workshop starts at 10.30 am and will finish at 1 pm.

Booking is essential as spaces are limited, payment is required upon booking, cash or card. T. (01792 480200), bookings@environmentcentre.org.uk.
