Fairtrade Fortnight Is Here: Come On In

It’s Fairtrade Fortnight between 26th February and 11th March 2018, there will be lots of events across the country promoting Fairtrade and demonstrating how your purchasing power makes a huge difference to people’s lives in developing countries.

Swansea has successfully retained Fairtrade City status since 2004, this year there is a programme of events for you to get involved with, a full programme can be found here

Highlights include a St David’s Party Event at Waterfront Museum on Saturday 3rd March,
where Swansea Fair Trade Forum will be joining the party to celebrate all things Welsh and mark the ten year anniversary of Wales becoming the first Fairtrade Nation. Then on Wednesday 7th March local volunteers from Action Aid will be offering some tasty treats in the Environment Centre’s café from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, including homemade cakes with Fairtrade ingredients alongside a selection of Fairtrade teas and coffees.
