The Environment Centre’s Food Waste Officer, El Evans, has organised a FREE interactive Love Food Hate Waste session on Wednesday 28th June, 10.30am – 12.30pm, in the St Thomas area of Swansea.

Your food does its job best when it’s on a plate ready to be enjoyed. Saving food saves money and helps to slow down global warming and deforestation. Reducing the amount of food that ends up in the bin also means you can say goodbye to unnecessary packaging waste. If we all make a few small changes and start using up the food we buy, together we can make a big difference.

The session includes top tips to help you make the most of your food and save up to £60 a month, and ideas on how to pass the message on to help your friends, family and community do the same. Refreshments will be provided.

To book your place contact El Evans T. 01792 480200, text 07505 843941, or email el@environmentcentre.org.uk
